We believe that children learn by doing and playing. This is a crucial time in a child's life that can stimulate curiosity and a love of learning for the future. Children need to touch, manipulate and explore their world.
An Enriched Language Environment will be evident in the classroom. In a small group setting, your child will listen to stories, sing songs, and participate in discussions. Books will always be available, and a reading area is provided in each classroom. Development of an extensive vocabulary is your child's first step toward reading readiness.
Socialization is learned by interaction with other children in a well-supervised setting. Learning how to treat others, how to resolve conflict, and how to act in the classroom are skills that become valuable tools for success in school and in life.
Process Art promotes the joy of creating something from raw materials. This is true art ... the creation of something from the ideas and hands of the artist. Your child will have the opportunity to craft their own masterpiece daily. |
